Terms of Service
By accessing or using Workbench (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Workbench. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for any activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@myworkbench.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create on Workbench. By posting content, you grant Workbench a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups in our normal rotation cycle.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit toward minors, or that incites violence.
- Impersonate another person, brand, or organization.
- Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you, including reverse-engineering, scraping at scale, or interfering with rate limits.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited promotional content.
- Upload malware or content that contains viruses or other harmful code.
5. Reporting and moderation
You can report any post, clip, comment, message, profile, or project from inside the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent bans.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workbench will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
9. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Workbench is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
